Year 2 have been learning about different types of charts and how to collect and present data in Maths. On one of the hot days this term, the children visited the shaded field to apply their statistical knowledge by counting the number of different items they could find and recording them on tally charts. Their tally included both man-made features, such as tyres, and natural features, such as poppies. This activity helped them to apply their mathematical and geographical skills while exploring their local environment.
Year 2 have been experimenting with clay. They have been marking tiles with diffrerent tools and using their hands to create pinch pots.
