Year 3 have been busy exploring the exciting world of pneumatic toys! As part of their Design and Technology learning, the children discovered how air can be used to create movement. They investigated simple pneumatic systems and learned how pushing air through tubes and syringes can make parts of a toy move in different ways.
Using their creativity and imagination, the children designed and made their own unique pneumatic toys. They carefully constructed their models using papier mâché, building strong and colourful structures like animals with moving jaws. Each toy showed fantastic originality and problem-solving skills.
Throughout the project, the children demonstrated great teamwork, resilience and enthusiasm. They tested and improved their designs, making sure their pneumatic systems worked effectively. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they solved challenges and brought their ideas to life.
Well done Year 3, for your hard work and creativity, your pneumatic toys are truly impressive!
