Class Dojo 

In Reception we use ‘ClassDojo’ which is a school communication platform that links teachers, students and families securely. It enables us to share updates, events, and photos from class onto the class story. It’s simple, free, secure, and gives you a window into the children's school day! 

You can use it on any device, the free mobile app for IOS or Android or from a computer at www.classdojo.com.  Once your child has started in Reception class you will be asked to fill in a form consenting to the use of class dojo. Following this, you will receive a letter containing your unique code to sign up to the app. When connected, you will be able to access your own child’s online portfolio and any information that the teacher shares on the class story. Please be advised that the messaging or 'chat' feature will not be used.

The app is covered under our ‘Data Protection Procedures and Policies’ and our ‘Acceptable Use Policy’, which can be found on our academy website. The content on ClassDojo can only be seen by account holders, it is not public.
